Oak University is a growing University in the heart of Lusaka. We are looking to fill the following various lecturing positions on a part-time basis;

Duties and responsibilities

Effectively provide student instruction, teaching and assessments using online tools.
Develop a schedule consisting of termly lesson schedules that include demonstrations, handouts, tests and assignments.
Make sure that the subject matter is presented effectively and content is readily accessible to students.
Providing worksheets and handouts allowing students to test their knowledge.
Prepare complete worksheets and answers for assessment tests and availing these to students for them to make comparisons and corrections.
Develop evaluation to assess each student’s performance and progress.
Assess students’ work against plagiarism.
Maintain assessment records for all students.
Provide hours for consultation with students using online tools.

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate
Must have Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in the respective teaching area.
Must a corresponding Master of Science or Master of Arts Degree in the respective teaching area
A PhD will be an added advantage
Teaching methodology certificate will be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft office-excel, word and use of power point
Experience teaching online will be an added advantage
3 years teaching experience

A PhD or DBA will be an added advantage
Teaching methodology certificate will be an added advantage
