Account Manager

Zambia, Full Time Salary:

This role requires a careful balance between the client’s needs, wants and priorities, and the agency’s bottom line. You will play a crucial role in client retention, bringing in new business, as well as how well we deliver projects.
Account Manager Job Role:
Ensuring clear understanding of the client’s business requirements and to translate this into clear deliverable objectives
Managing projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
Operating as the point of contact for assigned clients
Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients
Ensuring clients receive requested services in a timely fashion
Communicating client needs and demands to team members to ensure consistent quality service
Forecasting and tracking client account metrics
Keeping records of client transactions
Servicing multiple clients concurrently
Assisting in developing markets for our clients’ brands
Identifying and seeking opportunities to grow business with existing clients
Focusing on growing market share and acquiring new markets through marketing activities
Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
Research and prepare insights about product/brand potentials
Building effective relationships with distributors and traders
Ensuring ideal shelf presence of all our clients’ brands
Monitoring current trade trends, analysing the data and developing proposals that will help gain market share
Delivering high standards of client satisfaction, measuring this through feedback, surveys, campaign evaluation and continuously adapting and adjusting approaches to benefit their needs
