Admin Officer

Status Hi-Tech is Zambia’s premier supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE). The company is head quartered in Chingola town, Copperbelt Province of Zambia.
We seek to recruit an Admin Assistant to undertake a variety of Administrative Tasks to be based in Lusaka.
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments
Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
Typing, compiling and preparing reports and correspondence
Managing databases and filing systems
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
Collating and filing expenses
Miscellaneous tasks to support other staff members
Qualifications
A diploma/Certificate in Secretarial studies, Public Administration or Business Administration
Previous experience in a Cleaning company will be an advantage

Good oral and written communication skills
Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
The ability to be proactive and take the initiative
Tact and diplomacy
A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required
