HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT (ZRA07) – 1 POSITION

Job Description
Reporting directly to the Human Resource Officer-Employee Relations. The job holder will assist the Human Resource Officer – Employee Relations in supporting human resource processes such as administration of discipline, employee wellness and provision of general human resource services and administrative support to Human Resource team.
Responsibility:
MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Schedules disciplinary meetings and Human Resource events and maintains agendas;
Prepares documents for Disciplinary Hearings;
Updates and tracks records of cases received in Human Resource until the time they are concluded;
Maintains the database for employees on suspensions and monitors the same to ensure that suspensions are lifted within the stipulated time;
Helps stakeholders in the use of the Disciplinary Case Management System;
Files all medical bills;
Monitors employees on prolonged sick leave and updates management on the same;
Participates in wellness activities and encourages other employees to engage in wellness activities;
Produces and submits reports on general Human Resource activities; and
Gives administrative support to all Units in Human Resource Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
Minimum of Diploma in Human Resource Management or Social Science or any related field;
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource function; and
Membership to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.
