We are looking for a result driven Stores/Workshop Assistant to be assisting in the day-to-day operations for the stores and workshop department.
Responsibilities:
Organizing all stores and workshop operations including stores documentations,
Preparing and controlling the stores budget aiming for maximum efficiency,
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring there are no stock outs
Inspecting the areas in the store rooms and resolve any issues that might arise
Reconciling delivery notes to finished goods/dispatches on a monthly basis
Issuing and reconciling issued items with the ones presently in stock
Maintain minimum/maximum reporting to management
Maintain and manage finished goods, raw materials and other stock in the workshop stores
Basic Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in CIPS or any related field
Work experience of at least one year and above in the transport industry will be an added advantage
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Inventory/Stores Management techniques, control methods, and procedures.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word packages.
Fluent in both verbal and written English.
Skills and Abilities:
A good team player.
Multi-skilled and hardworking, with a meticulous and efficient work ethic.
Ability to follow processes and procedure.
Strong problem solving skills.
Must have excellent numeracy literacy and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest accuracy.
Able to deliver excellent customer service both internally with work colleagues, and externally, with vendors and other stakeholders.
Willing to work overtime at short notice, and able to meet tight deadlines.
